Nadim Azam

Ahmed Nadim Azam is from Bloosmbury London, WC1, England, UK

Nadim Azam was born in West Yorkshire on 1 May, 1972. He attended Grange School in Bradford, which was termed by a television programme as "one of the ten worst schools in England". Despite having an absent father and having to work in warehouses Nadim Azam was given an award for obtaining a high number of GCSEs by lanky Bradford City centre forward Ian Ormondroyd since the age of nine as the eldest male in the family, he was a determined student and did well with his GCSEs.

He was delighted to receive an academic prize from one his footballing heros, lanky centre forward Ian Ormondroyd (pictured on the right).

He left Yorkshire in 1992 to move to the big smoke and has lived by himself in London ever since. Nadim enjoys writing and has been involved in a number of charities on a voluntary basis. Circumstances have not permitted him to write for the last decade, but is desperately looking forward to being able to do so in the near future as soon as possible.

Nadim Azam has resided in Tooting, Earl's Court and Camden. In 2004, he moved to Bloomsbury in central London. In his spare time he likes to read: some of his favourite authors are Jane Austen, Bernard Malamud, Edward Said and Stephen King.

One of Nadim's favourite charities is UNICEF and you can visit their website by clicking here.
